To Whom It May Concern,

The City of Eureka recently embarked on a project to upgrade
computer programs utilized in project/manhour accounting and
fleet maintenance management systems.  The software used since
1983 was the CPM version of Data Flex.  Conversion of existing data
for use with DataFlex 3.01b, Dos multi-user version, was of 
utmost importance.

Our local hardware provider contacted Data Access Corporation and
was advised of an expert DataFlex programming group: Austin
Programmers Group.  Mr Michael Steffano, their head consultant,
has lived up to the recommendations.  His ability to complete data
transfer and conversion to the updated formats has been invaluable.
Modification of several programs was required due to programming 
errors by his predecessors.  Mr. Steffano has excelled in timely 
completion every task assigned.

We are currently considering development and integration of
additional programs in our system.  Mr. Steffano's expertise will
be invaluable in this process as no City staff member has the 
knowledge and experience with our software.

We look forward to a long working relationship with Mr. Steffano
